Speyside Whisky Tour – our tour takes you on a magical trip through this special area of Scotland that has the highest concentration of whisky distilleries in the World. Around 40 distilleries can be found within a 25 minute drive between each distillery.
As most whisky enthusiasts know, Speyside is a bit of a special region in the world of single malts.
The local council and distilleries have worked together to form the world famous malt whisky trail.
For a day tour we select three Speyside distillery tours depending on availability from the list below:
Macallan, Cragganmore, Dalwhinnie, Glenfarclas, Aberlour, Benromach, Cardhu, Dallas Dhu, Glenallachie, Glen Grant, Glen Moray, Glenfiddich, The Glenlivet, Speyside Cooperage (cooperage tour) and Strathisla.
An example one day tour would be:
Glenlivet – 10:00am-11:15pm
Macallan – 12:00pm-1:30pm
Stop for lunch – 1:40pm-2:30pm
Cardhu – 3:00pm-4:00pm
Return to Edinburgh around 7:30pm
Two day Speyside delight
For a two day tour we select six Speyside distilleries/tasting locations
An example two day tour would be:
Day 1
Glenlivet – 10:00am-11:15pm
Macallan – 12:00pm-1:30pm
Stop for lunch – 1:40pm-2:30pm
Highlander Inn whisky tasting (One whisky flight per person) – 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Day 2
Glenfiddich – 10:00am-11:30am
Lunch – 12:00pm to 1:15pm
Cragganmore – 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Dalwhinnie whisky and chocolate tasting – 4:00-4:30pm
On our Speyside Whisky Tour, we may also add in sightseeing attractions such as the Glen Grant gardens, Ballindalloch castle and the Inveravan Pictish stones depending on the timings of the tours and tastings.
If you decide to do a two day tour we know the best local hotels and restaurants for your stay in this once in a lifetime trip. We use bed and breakfasts such as the Aberlour hotel, the Dowans hotel and the Spey valley resort (£75 supplement per person for a 4/5 star hotel).
We use comfortable, new and well maintained saloons or spacious 8 or 9 seat vehicles from Mercedes, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen.
Our Speyside Whisky tours take you through the Lowlands, Highlands and Speyside, through the Cairngorm national park and return though the beautiful town of Pitlochry.

Two day tour including one night in a local hotel and breakfast – £498.00 per person (Two people required to run tour)
