Glasgow is a fantastic place to visit while in Scotland and a Glasgow whisky tour is a great day out.
Try some world class whiskies while catching some of the sights and sounds of what makes Glasgow a world renowned destination.
On your Glasgow whisky tour, you will visit three separate locations, three paid whisky experiences and have time for lunch at a local Inn, pub or café.
As Glasgow is quite an eclectic city, we have a variety of whisky based experiences on offer. Depending on availability and timings, we select the best three that work into an efficient route.
FULL DAY ITINERARY
This is an example itinerary that we use as a guide, but there may be slight adjustments due to availability.
Hotel Pickup & Glengoyne
Hotel/B&B pickup – 9:00am
Glengoyne Distillery – 10:00am – 11:30am
With a background in sourcing some of finest ex bourbon and ex sherry casks in the country, Glengoyne is a great place to learn about whisky for both novices and experienced whisky lovers. Enjoy a tutored tasting of Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Whiskies as you learn about the bold, complex flavours from the slowest stills in Scotland, matured in the finest casks.
Lunch
Malt Whisky Society Glasgow – 12:00pm-1:30pm
Bath Street is the home to the Malt Whisky Society’s newest venue. Elegant with a vibrant vibe, it has a superb collection of over 850 cask strength bottlings, making it the perfect place for whisky enthusiasts. Clydeside distillery
Clydeside distillery tour and tasting – 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Located beside the River Clyde, Clydeside are creating a fantastic new make spirit. Celebrating Glasgow’s dockside heritage – one of the main reasons why Scotch whisky became known and loved across the globe.

The tours run 7 days per week, you’ll see a calendar with date options to choose from. If you’re trying to book a tour within 24 hours of the start date, please call or email to check short notice availability.
Do you offer collection/drop-off at hotels?
The cost of the full day Glasgow whisky tour includes collection and drop off at your accommodation (within 10 miles of Edinburgh).

What's included in the full day tour cost?
Free pickup and drop off from your accommodation or from a location in Edinburgh (within 10 miles). Two stops for whisky distillery tours and tastings – at least 3 whiskies provided per stop. One stop for a tutored tasting – at least 3 whiskies provided. Driver Guide. Bottled water provided in the tour vehicle. Itinerary booked and planned and communicated by text or email. Lunch table booked.
