After gaining knowledge on the world respected distilling process you will have time to taste a few drams at your own leisure before the trip back to Edinburgh.

Our half day whisky tour from Edinburgh takes in the Southern part of the Highlands. However, the region covers the land from the North of Glasgow all the way to the northernmost tip of the north and east coasts while including the Islands to the West and North.

Highland whisky includes a huge range of tasting notes and it can be tough to pin down a Highland dram when compared side by side to other whiskies from different regions.

Although the southern Highland whiskies are known to be a bit sweeter and lighter on the palate, all of the distilleries on this tour have something which makes them unique, often due to their owners having connections to some pretty impressive cask stock.

We will visit one of the following distilleries: Deanston, Tullibardine, Glengoyne or Glenturret.
